Weekday Ortho-Spine PA/NP Locums Job in NW Minnesota | Seeking Coverage Starting ASAP & Ongoing

Jackson & Coker's valued client in northwestern Minnesota is seeking full-time Orthopedic-Spine Surgery Advanced Practice Support starting ASAP & ongoing. Look forward to a weekday assignment only with no night or weekend call, a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours/week & the opportunity to work with two Surgeons that have helped pioneer impressive minimally invasive technique that have impacted spine surgery world-wide. 

Coverage need:
- Seeking Monday - Friday coverage, generally from 8A-5P
- Monday, Thursday & Friday are typically clinic based or in the hospital rounding (will typically be one or the other, not split)
- Tuesday is a half OR day (split with clinic) + Wednesday is a full OR day that may go longer than 5PM

Details/Requirements for opportunity #114699:
- Seeking candidates with 1st assist OR experience in orthopedic surgery 
- Must have an active & unrestricted MN medical license + DEA
- Can anticipate working in the OR for 20-30 surgeries per month on average
- Will work alongside of 2 Surgeons (rotate weeks), one with an Orthopedic Spine background & one with a Neurosurgery Spine background
- Will work in clinic alongside of surgeons & will see some patients together, but will also need to see some patients that aren't surgery candidates independently
- CLINIC Skills/Preferences: Provider to be able to independently do full workups, back assessments, lumbar braces, post op surgery site assessments, medication reviews/managements, etc.
- OR Skills: must be comfortable with 1st assist, wound suturing, pre & post op patient management
** Cases to anticipate: OLLIF, minimally invasive orthopedic procedures, same-day fusions (single + multiple), neuro assessments, Kyphoplasty
