Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Jackson, MS

We are seeking a full time Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner for an outpatient, private practice in Jackson, MS.  We are looking for a motivated and positive practitioner to join us in our outpatient physical medicine clinic, where we focus on treating adults with acute and chronic musculoskeletal/orthopedic injuries.

We are looking for a PA or NP who preferably has experience in Orthopedics, Physical Medicine and Rehab, or Pain Management to join our expert medical team.

Our multidisciplinary group focuses on the treatment of acute and chronic pain using medical protocols that area non-Opioid based with the goal of avoiding invasive Surgical Procedures.  We provide multiple levels of services that help improve patient outcomes.  We realize that every patient, their health, and treatment goals are different, so we work closely with the patients and the collaborating team to provide personalized, quality health care that every person wants and deserves.   

Duties:

• Perform exams/evaluations to include (physical, med/social history, pertinent imaging)
• Evaluate clinical data
• Consult with MD and the rest of the team
• Order appropriate tests
• Provide accurate and useful diagnostic information
• Provide treatment options (to include joint injections, therapy, treatment modalities)
• Patient education
• Documentation
• Help direction for the management of the patient’s care
•  

Requirements:

• Graduation/Completion- Accredited PA or NP program (Masters level or higher)
• Mississippi Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license
• Joint injection/trigger point injection experience preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Orthopedic, PM & R, pain management experience preferred
• Experience with EHR (electronic health records) preferred 

Salary:

• $110,000-$130,000 per year
• Bonus Compensation
