Emergency Medicine PA Locums Job in Montana | Full Time Ongoing | Beginning in July | Assignment #110111

Coverage Needed: Full time coverage ongoing starting July 2, 2025 

Shift Description: 12-hour shifts; 8am-8pm, 8pm-8am (shifts TBD depending on needs) 

Requirements:  
--Board Certified 
--Fellowship NOT required 
--BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications- required 
--Required Procedures: intubation, fractures, lacerations 
--Desired skills: good communication skills, experience working in a rural hospital and able to make quick decisions, and experience will all sorts of trauma scenarios 
--Ability to work nights and/or weekends is required 
--Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required 

Assignment Details: 
--Reason for coverage: staffing gap 
--Locums will NOT be required to supervise other healthcare providers  
--Trauma Level: 4 
--Average number of patients per shift: 7 
--Patient demographics: pediatrics, adolescent, adult, and geriatric 
--Support Staff: RN 
--EMR: Epic 
--Sleeping rooms available 
--Duties: function independently, direct interactions with patients in hospital and/or clinic (also via telephone, video, or email), care of patients (includes gathering of history, physical exam, review of prior records, and review of ancillary data), develops and monitors treatment plans communicating with patient, may be required to float to other departments based on business need, may be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
