Seeking a locum Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant to start ASAP
Inpatient / Hospital-based
--Average Number of Patients Per Day: Operate on 2/day; round on 5–12 patients/day (ICU and floor); includes consults
--Schedule: Weekday, weekend, and night call coverage needed (varied shifts)
--System/EMR: Cerner
--Required procedures: Retrieval of Vascular Tissues for Use as a Bypass Conduit, Endoscopic Retrieval, Chest Tube Insertions, First Assist in OR for Cardiac Surgery
--Required Duties: Rounding, Coordination of Care, Assist in Surgery, Diagnose and Treat Illnesses, Order and Interpret Tests, Write Prescriptions, Suture Removal
--Required: NCCPA certified, NJ license, Minimum of 2–3 years of experience, including proficiency in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH), BLS, ACLS
