APP – Neuro Critical Care Locums Job | New Jersey | 6-Month Assignment
One of our partnering hospitals is seeking an experienced Neurocritical Care NP/PA for full-time inpatient coverage with a collaborative team of physicians and APPs, beginning late-September and ongoing for 6+ months. Candidates with New Jersey license and an active CDS and DEA are preferred.
Job Details:
--Start Date: September 28 - March 31
--Schedule: Full-time, 12-hour shifts (days/nights/weekends)
--Shift Times: 6:30a–6:30p (Days) / 6:30p–6:30a (Nights)
--Call: None
--Setting: Inpatient Neuro Critical Care
--Daily Census: ~8–20 patients (varies by shift)
--Team Structure: Collaborative coverage with physicians and APPs
--Support Staff: 7 physicians and 9 APPs
--Procedures: ICU procedural skills preferred
--Required Experience: Stroke code participation strongly preferred + Neurocritical care or ICU exposure ideal
--Facility Details:
--Bed Count: ~750+ beds
--Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center
--Stroke Level: Comprehensive Stroke Center
--EMR: Epic
