Neonatology Physician Assistant Locums Job in New York | Weekend Shifts | Immediate and Ongoing Coverage | Assignment #111409

Coverage Needed: Weekend coverage

Shift Description: 12 or 24-hour shifts

Requirements:
-- Board certified 
-- Must be licensed in New York
-- Supervise RNs in NICU
-- Attend C-sections
-- Cover Well-Baby Nursey (only during night shift)
-- Procedures:
-- Ventilation Management
-- Invasive (ETT) and Non-invasive (BiPAP/CPAP)
-- Chest Tube Insertion
-- Exchange Transfusions
-- UAC/UVC placement, LPs 
-- Evaluation & Management of Acute Volume/BP Issues
-- Insertion of Central and Arterial Line
-- Diagnostic/Therapeutic Taps

Assignment Details:
-- NICU Level III
-- Support staff in group:
-- 3 Neonatologists and 6 Mid-levels 
-- 16 beds in Unit
-- Average number of admissions per day: 0-2
-- Average number of patients per day: 8-9
-- EMR: Epic
