Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Locums Job in New York | February 1 – May 1 | Full Time | Assignment #112735

Coverage Details
-- February 1 – May 1
-- Monday–Friday, 7 AM – 5 PM
-- Reason for Coverage: Paternity leave

Shift Description
-- Night call: 1–2 evenings per week
-- Operating call from home
-- Call ratio: 1/week

Requirements
-- NCCPA
-- Active New York State License
-- BLS & ACLS
-- Cardiac surgery operating experience (1st assist, vein harvesting)
-- Robotic experience is a plus

Required Duties
-- Chest tube insertions
-- Vein harvesting
-- OR 1st assist

Assignment Details
-- Hospital cardiac surgery
-- Operating room primarily, some ICU/floor coverage
-- EMR: Epic
-- Trauma Level: 2
-- Adult patient population
-- APP will not work autonomously; supervising physician present
