Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Locums Job in Wisconsin | Monday-Friday Inpatient Coverage With 1:6 Call

Jackson & Coker is partnered with a facility located in central Wisconsin that needs Cardio Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner coverage starting ASAP & ongoing. This is a hospital based position that has a full-time need. The facility is willing to piece the schedule together with a few providers and is eager to add quality clinicians to their schedule to help with ongoing needs until they're able to identify a permanent hire.

Coverage need: 
- Seeking weekday inpatient coverage with a guaranteed 8-hours of work and up to 10 each day
- 1:6 call rotation, can anticipate taking call ever 5-6 weeks
- 100% inpatient coverage
- Seeking up to full-time coverage (willing to consider candidates with a minimum of 1 week/month of availability)

Details & Requirements for Opportunity #114348: 
- Seeking candidates with an active Wisconsin license (will need a DEA in WI as well)
- Must have experience in the CT Surgery space & working as 1st assist
- EVH is required
- Daily duties will include: morning ICU, cardiac medical unit, post procedural rounding, CT as 1st assist with surgical cases, consult with hospitalists, ED, as well internal and external referring services 
- Must be comfortable with EVH, placing/removing chest tubes and catheters, central / arterial lines, prescriptions & medical orders
- Will work between 8-10 hours per day in the hospital, Monday - Friday & help with call coverage every 5-6 weeks
- CT Surgeons are actively using robotics
- Team of 2 Surgeons, 6 Advanced Providers in total
- Average patient volume of 10 patients per day & an average of 4 procedures/day
- 100& adult patient population, inpatient 100%
- 230+ bed facility, designated trauma center, Epic EMR
