Position Title: Podiatrist – Clinical/Surgical Podiatry Services
Locations: Several locations throughout Southeast Louisiana--Travel required
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Salary-Based; Starting Range: $100,000 – $150,000, Commensurate with Experience
Position Summary:
Southern Podiatry is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to join our established practice, providing comprehensive general podiatric care across our clinic locations in Southeast Louisiana. This full-time, salaried position offers an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative clinical environment alongside an experienced DPM and Medical Doctor (MD).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a wide range of podiatric conditions
- Provide both preventative and therapeutic care related to foot and ankle health
- Collaborate closely with medical colleagues and support staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Participate in ongoing clinical development and uphold best practices in podiatric medicine
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Louisiana
- Strong diagnostic, procedural, and interpersonal communication skills
- Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care
