Child, Adolescent, and Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist Locum Tenens to Permanent Job in Southern California
Details/Requirements:
*Need is for child & adolescent outpatient locum tenens to permanent candidates for 40 hours a week starting ASAP and ongoing. Patients age range is 0-25 years.
*Requires the locums to permanent candidate to be on site for the first 2 months, then it would be hybrid services (half and half) after that. Client uses Ring Central for tele health.
*Hours: 8:30am-5pm, M-F. Flexible regarding days/hours worked between 8:30am and 5pm M-F.
*No call.
*90-120 minutes for initial evaluations and 30-45 minutes for medication follow ups.
*Client has an electronic health record so must be computer savvy
*Client prefers doctors who live in California and who have worked in the past for ANY county in California and have child experience, but if they have worked with Los Angeles County in the past, then even better; however, past County experience is not required.
*Prefer a child trained psychiatrist willing to see all ages or an adult psychiatrist willing to see some young children. Board certification is not required.
*Takes approximately two weeks for credentialing.
*Client prefers locums to permanent candidates for 6-month minimum assignments but will consider 3 months, if necessary. The assignment would be temporary for up to 6 months, with the possibility of transitioning into the client’s vacant full-time direct-hire Psychiatrist position if it’s a good fit for both parties.
