An outpatient facility is needing a Psychiatrist to see their Child and Adolescent Population when their current Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist retires. Credentialing takes roughly 2 weeks.
The facility is located roughly 1 hour south of Atlanta, Georgia.
This role offers flexible hours with scheduling tailored to the providers preferences, including a hybrid schedule with telehealth options. The psychiatrist will handle initial evaluations and medication checks, primarily for school-aged children and teenagers, with some referrals from pediatricians, family services, and schools. While there may be a few preschool-aged patients, providers not comfortable with younger children are not required to see them. The position also involves supervising four APRNs, with time divided between supervision and patient care. The team includes APRNs and therapists to provide additional support.
