Psychiatry-Child/Adolescent Hospital Based job located in New York
Job Description
Outpatient Psychiatry group of 7 physicians and team of PMHNPs/Therapists/LCSWs seeking Board Certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist for remote hybrid role to join our growing psychiatry team;
Competitive salary based on experience plusquarterly productivity bonuses;
Schedule will consist of 4 days/week remote Adult work and 1 day/week onsite Child/Adolescent cases.
Responsibilities:
80% - Direct clinical care with adherence to practice model
10% - Program development, oversight of other clinicians in the care of children and adolescent patients
10% - Notes, collateral contact, and administrative work related to patient care

Responsibilities
Clinical
Provide excellent quality clinical care on a consistent basis that exemplifies our culture, values, and guiding principles.
Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop curated patient-centered treatment plans
Provide appropriate Psychotherapy practices that leverage various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.) with proper Psychopharmacology prescribing practices
Appropriately prescribe medication prescriptions & refills considering the best judgment of the patient's wellbeing
Provides clinical support & counseling to diverse patient populations in a tele-health environment
Curate comprehensive patient-centered treatment plans and provide resources as needed
Provide clinical guidance and valued input to patients and peers
Provide services to a diverse demographic of patients with an average patient standard of 40-45 appointments per week (including minors and adults; Caseload and weekly patient standard numbers may vary based on clinical judgment, patient needs, scheduling, etc.)
Participate in and support routine and ad-hoc clinical-wide meetings and internal trainings to foster an engaging and continuous learning team environment
Comply with clinical standards and adhere to timely and thorough session note documentation
Supervisory
Lead a weekly focused specialty group of clinicians who are interested in expanding their care to include children and/or adolescents.
Provide guidance on topics that are particular to child and adolescent mental health
Be involved in the onboarding of new clinicians who are interested in seeing minors, to provide guidance and training
Keep up to date with all administrative and operations responsibilities related to patient care (notes, lost to follow-up tracking, policies regarding appointment cancellations, etc)
Be available for questions from the specialty group of clinicians regarding their child and adolescent cases
Meet regularly with the medical director to report on the specialty team and the functioning of the child and adolescent service line
