A facility is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Reading, Pennsylvania, just 40 miles from Allentown and 60 miles from both Philadelphia and Harrisburg. The facility provides high-quality behavioral healthcare services to the individuals and families living in the communities of southeast Pennsylvania.
A facility is seeking a full-time inpatient locum psychiatrist to provide coverage for adolescent patients ages 1417. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a patient load of up to 16 per day. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations upon admission, medication management, treatment planning, family meetings, discharge planning, and completing all associated documentation, including daily progress notes and discharge summaries. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible with adolescent psychiatry experience. The role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team that includes nursing, case management, therapy, and utilization review. The max rate cap for this role is $330.
