An inpatient behavioral health and substance abuse treatment facility in South Carolina, serving patients ages 11 through 18. This is a part-time Medical Director opportunity for a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist ready to step into a meaningful leadership role within a structured, well-supported clinical environment.

The Opportunity
This position carries both clinical and administrative responsibility, offering a physician the chance to shape psychiatric care quality and program development for an adolescent population. The facility operates a collaborative practice model with four PMHNPs on staff, and the Medical Director will provide oversight and supervision to that team alongside direct patient care responsibilities. A PHP/IOP unit is planned for future development, making this an exciting moment to join and influence the program's growth.

Clinical Responsibilities
--Psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management for adolescent inpatients

Leadership Responsibilities

--Promote continuity of care and patient-centered treatment across the multidisciplinary team

Ideal Candidate
Board certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Comfortable in a supervisory role with NPs. Experience in inpatient behavioral health preferred. Physicians who thrive in collegial, team-based environments will find this a strong fit.
