Job Description
- 100% outpatient
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy for a diverse outpatient caseload across the lifespan.
- Treat patients presenting with depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and dual-diagnosis conditions. Average daily caseload: 20 patients.

Our group delivers integrated, whole-person psychiatric care through a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, PMHNPs, therapists, and social workers. Our outpatient clinic is built on collaboration, streamlined technology, and the belief that every patient deserves individualized treatment and genuine compassion.
Schedule & Lifestyle
- Monday–Friday, 8?am–5?pm
- 100?% outpatient—no nights, weekends, or call
Expectations:
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy for a diverse outpatient caseload across the lifespan.
- Treat patients presenting with depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and dual-diagnosis conditions. Average daily caseload: 20 patients.
- Lead weekly treatment team meetings with NPs, therapists, and case managers to ensure coordinated, measurement-based care.
- Chart in a cloud-based EHR (Practice Fusion) with AI-powered scribe support (MD?Hub) to reduce documentation time.
- Champion quality improvement projects and collaborate with NPs.
- Optional leadership tracks to develop specialty programs (e.g., addiction, ChA, TMS, geriatric).

Qualified Candidate
- MD/DO with completed ACGME psychiatry residency
- Board-certified (or board-eligible within 12?months) in Psychiatry
- Unrestricted Alabama medical license (or ability to obtain) + active DEA
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care and collaborative practice
