Locum Tenens to Permanent Psychiatrist Job in the Greater Los Angeles, California Area 

Details/Requirements:
*Adult outpatient coverage for 40 hours a week for locums or locums to permanent candidates - for locums to perm at least 3 months of locums work first as a trial period. Need starts 3/3/25 x ongoing!
*Hours: 8:30am-5pm, Monday through Friday.  
*Initially, the psychiatrist will be onsite 4-5 days a week for 3 months and once they get acclimated, they would be available for telework two days out of the week and 2-3 days a week onsite.
*No call.
*Two x 30 minute admin time/day. Outpatient cases don't have case manager. For more intense clients in FSP, usually case managers are with them. Will see patients the whole time (besides admin time) but in reality the schedule is not heavy.
*90-120 minutes for initial evaluations and 30-45 minutes for medication follow ups.
*Electronic health record which you will receive training on and be required to use for writing chart notes.
*Prefer doctors who live in California and who have worked in the past for ANY county in California and have DMH Adult experience. If you have worked with Los Angeles County in the past then even better.
*Three month minimum assignments.
