Part-Time Locum Tenens Psychiatrist Job in Rural California

Details/Requirements:
--Correctional Setting
--Located just two hours away from the Pacific Ocean and one hour from the Sierra Nevada Mountain range.  Come to this relaxing region of California!
--2 days per week. Weekdays preferred - 7am-5pm
--Need is for adult inpatient coverage at the acute care hospital on this correctional facility's campus.  
--No call.  However, Call is optional if our Doctor wants to share in the call schedule.
--Twenty-four beds, but 24-28 patients (several patients in borrowed beds) covered by three Psychiatrists seven days a week (the locum tenens Doctor plus two other Psychiatrists plus weekend on-call Psychiatrists.)
--Average daily census stays full.
--Average length of stay: about five to six days, except those waiting for transfer-out or court hearing.
--Average daily case load for the locum tenens Doctor is 14 patients, including average one admission per Doctor per day.
--Physicals for H&Ps for new admissions are done by Primary Care Physicians, not the locum tenens Doctor.
--Client prefers three month minimum assignments.
