Pomona, CA, is a diverse and vibrant city in Los Angeles County, located about 30 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. As a psychiatrist considering a role at here, you'll find Pomona to be a community with a strong need for mental health services, particularly given its mix of urban and suburban environments, socioeconomic diversity, and underserved populations.
The position offers a flexible schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or four 10-hour days. It is a hybrid role, requiring onsite presence for 2 out of the 4 or 5 days each week without exceptions after working onsite for the first 1-2 months. The EMR system is Cerner, and credentialing takes 35 weeks.
