A facility is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Central California, near the Coast.

The locum will work 3240 hours per week treating a population of 200 patients with serious mental illness. Theyll have 60 minutes for evaluations and 30 minutes for follow-ups, with about two hours of daily admin time for forms, labs, and emails. Working alongside MAs and LVNs, theyll spend most of their time seeing patients, completing evaluations, and collaborating with the care team. Theyll start by seeing about 45 new intakes daily, increasing to a maximum of 10 patients per day once their caseload is fully established.
