Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist Locum Tenens Job in Beautiful Southern Coastal California

Details/Requirements:
*Need starts ASAP and ongoing for adult inpatient coverage for 40 hours a week.  
*Requires a doctor who is easily trainable, highly skilled, and will to stay for at least 6 months
*Need is for onsite coverage, no remote tele psychiatry. 
*Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, M-F.   
*No call.  
*16 bed adult inpatient unit.  
*Average daily census is 16 patients.  *Caseload for the locums doctor is 8 patients.   
*Average length of stay is approximately 7 days.  
*An Internist does the medical physicals for the H&Ps for new admissions.   
*Client has an electronic medical record system, so candidates must be computer savvy. Smart Care is the EMRS and electronic prescriptions program.  While on unit med orders are still on paper.   
*Takes about a month or so for credentialing, including privileges approval through the PHF governing board.   
*Board certification is required!
*Client requires 6 month minimum assignments.
