Adult Forensic Outpatient Psychiatrist Locums Job in the California Bay Area
Details/Requirement:
*Forty hours a week starting ASAP and ongoing. Ten hour days is an option with a Tuesday-Friday schedule. Also open to part-time work, but must be at least two days, and the days preferred would be Thursday and Friday.
*100% adult patients seen in a county jail setting.
*All work takes place within the jail inmate housing units and clinic (outpatient). No tele psychiatry.
*Average 12-15 patients per day in an 8-hour day.
*Combination of initial visits for assessment and ongoing renewals.
*Hours are 7:00am to 6pm Monday through Friday, either 8 or 10 hour shifts.
*No call.
*Electronic medical record system, so you must be computer literate.
*Takes approximately 2-4 weeks for credentialing.
*Prefer Doctors who have correctional or county jail work experience; however, this is not a requirement.
*Prefer 6-month minimum assignments, but the longer the better.
*Prefers doctors who have correctional or county jail work experience.
