About the Clinician's Workday

The psychiatrist will provide specialized psychiatric care for homeless adults with co-occurring substance use disorders through a mobile clinic team approach. Primary responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management while working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM in various community settings. The clinician will engage individuals at their locations including streets, shelters, and community hubs, providing intensive case management and treatment linkage services. Daily activities involve collaborating with mental health and primary care providers to connect patients to appropriate behavioral health treatment, community services, and housing resources while maintaining detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions.
