An OP clinic is seeking a Psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located about 45 minutes NE of Atlanta, Georgia.
A BC Psychiatrist is needed two days per week (16 hours) to start, with the potential for additional hours later on. One of the days must be on-site (Thursday), while the second day can be remote if preferred. Hours are 8 AM to 5 PM. The psychiatrist will treat patients of all ages, with most being adults, and see 1220 patients per day depending on visit type (initial vs. follow-up). Common conditions include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, substance use disorder, ADHD, and ODD. The psychiatrist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes nurses, social workers, BCBAs, and peer support specialists.
