Psychiatry Hospital Based job located in Iowa

Medical Center is seeking locum BC Psychiatrist to cover 2-3 weeks per month
• Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• Provider will round in the morning, and every third day they will take a turn managing all hospital calls/consults, etc. (during shift hours)
• NO CALL on evenings or weekends - only during regular business hours and is shared with all staff
• Experience in treating patients ages 6 and up preferred
• Inpatient Psych (adult unit and adolescent unit), Hospital Consults, ER Consults -- not open to Telehealth
• 5-12 average patients per day
• Total Number of Beds: 18 adults, 5 adolescents
• 1 part-time inpatient Psychiatrist and 2 APPS on staff
• EMR:  Cerner
• Trauma Level/Designation III
• Required Treatment Disorders:  Anxiety Disorders, Affective Disorders, ADD/ADHD, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Organic Disorders
• Required to have familiarity with Family Therapy, Restraint Application, Group Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Seclusion therapy, Voluntary Commitments, ER
• Required: IA license or IMLC, inpatient experience
