A facility is seeking a Psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located 1 hour and 45 minutes from Topeka, Kansas.
An outpatient psychiatrist is needed to provide coverage due to the upcoming retirement of a permanent provider. The role includes managing an established panel of 12 patients per day, focusing primarily on medication management. Twice a week, the psychiatrist will also provide Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) coverage for 1.5 to 2 hours, with a maximum of 8 patients. Additionally, the position requires one weekend of call per month starting Friday at 5 PM, which includes rounding on up to 15 inpatient cases.

Dates Needed:  June - September with option to extend
Call Ratio/Schedule:  1 weekend per month with rounds
