A state hospital is seeking a Psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is about 50 miles northwest of Great Bend, Kansas.

This position is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in an inpatient hospital serving both male and female patients with average stays of up to 10 days. The psychiatrist will serve as the interim CMO. While the CMO wont carry an individual caseload, they will be involved with certain cases in the psychiatry unit, and primary care as needed, and will remain available to the treatment team for case consultations, questions, and guidance. The role will be 25% direct patient care, and 75% administrative.
