Psychiatrist Locums Job in Massachusetts | Monday–Friday Days | Beginning May 4 – Ongoing | Assignment #114346

Coverage Details
-- May 4, 2026 – Ongoing, 8:30AM – 4:00PM
-- Experienced provider needed for opening of a third acute adult unit
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 21 days

Requirements
-- Board Certified in Psychiatry
-- Massachusetts medical license
-- BLS certification

Required Procedures / Skills
-- Anxiety disorders
-- Affective disorders
-- ADD/ADHD
-- Personality disorders
-- Development disorders
-- Psychotic disorders
-- Involuntary commitments
-- Seclusion therapy
-- Restraint application
-- Pharmacotherapy
-- Group therapy

Assignment Details
-- Inpatient psychiatry setting
-- Average 12–14 patients per shift
-- 24 beds in department
-- EMR: Cerner
-- Support staff includes 2 RNs and 3 office staff
-- Average daily census will start at 12 with an average length of stay of 10 days
-- Daily treatment meetings attended by all team members
-- Psychiatric diagnoses only; not dual diagnosis
