Adult Forensic Inpatient Psychiatrist Locum Tenens Job in the Greater Las Vegas Area

Details/Requirements:
*Need starts ASAP and is ongoing for 100% adult inpatient coverage for 40 hours a week.
*Onsite only.
*No call after scheduled hours on week nights or weekends. 
*A full-time inpatient psychiatrist has a caseload of about 20 patients. Based on minimum documentation requirements it averages about 8 patients day.
*Inpatient doctors typically see most of their patients during treatment team days, so the majority of notes are written on those days. There is no daily documentation requirement unless a patient is placed on more restricted observation levels. 
*Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist.
*Must possess and maintain Nevada medical license, DEA certification, State Board of Pharmacy license, and CPR certification. 
*Providers participate and lead a multidisciplinary team managing a wide variety of patients and diagnoses. Dynamic work responsibilities include providing assessments and evaluating patients; plan and review care and treatment of individual patients; prescribe medications; prepare reports and case histories; interpret medical records. Ensure regulatory and Joint Commission compliance. Participate in the Resident training and Internship programs.
