The psychiatrist will evaluate, manage, treat, and discharge psychiatric patients on an inpatient psychiatric unit while maintaining the ability to manage complex psychiatric conditions. The clinician must work collaboratively with treatment teams and may be asked to provide coverage for consultation liaison services to the medical hospital. Daily responsibilities include seeing patients, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and ensuring continuity of care through detailed documentation and coordination with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
