Psychiatrist Locums Job | Brooklyn, New York

Position Overview:
Join a growing outpatient clinic in Brooklyn serving a predominantly Orthodox Jewish population. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a dedicated behavioral health team and make a meaningful impact in the community.

Position Details:
--Patient Population: Ages 5+ (majority are children)
--Schedule: Full-time (35–40 hours/week); Sunday availability is a plus
--Visit Types: Evals (45 mins), med checks (20–30 mins), consultations, treatment plan approvals
--Setting: Onsite preferred; open to a hybrid schedule
--Support Staff: Therapists, part-time NP, PNP administrative assistant
--Start Date: In 3–4 weeks (due to prescriber resignation, last day 8/2)

Requirements:
--Must be comfortable seeing all ages
--Experience with or sensitivity to Orthodox Jewish culture
--Board Certification preferred, but not required
--EMR experience a plus
--Clinic census is growing – expect increased hours over time
--Exposure to complex cases is expected
