Ongoing Locums Job | Psychiatrist Needed in Upstate New York | Teaching-Only Role | Outpatient Setting

Jackson and Coker is partnering with a respected health system in Upstate New York to provide locums psychiatric coverage focused exclusively on resident education and precepting. This is a unique opportunity for a board certified psychiatrist who enjoys teaching without the pressure of direct patient care.

Details/Requirements:
--Teaching-focused role only – no direct patient care required
--Ongoing long-term assignment
--Precepting psychiatry residents in an outpatient clinic setting
--No oversight of the residency program
--On-call responsibilities tied to the inpatient unit
--2/23 start date
--Schedule: Monday–Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday: 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM
--On Call: 1 weekend per month and 5 weekday nights per month
--Active New York medical license
--DEA required
--Board Certified in Psychiatry
--Clean malpractice history
