- Running a well established Ketamine Infusion Therapy Clinic
- Maintain a Clinical Practice
- Evaluate and Manage patients
Chief Psychiatric Physician (CPP) in a well-established outpatient Ketamine Clinic, and help develop a co-functioning psychiatric practice. CPP plays a crucial role in leading the psychiatric services of the organization and is responsible for overseeing the Ketamine Infusion Clinic, the latter treating both mental health diagnoses and chronic pain diagnoses. Ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health care, and integrating psychiatric services into an established outpatient clinic. No nights, weekends, or major holidays. Annual Salary $500,000.
Ketamine Infusion Therapy on the job training provided. Must have Ohio License, and must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (The following description is a general representation of the key duties and responsibilities of this position):
- Maintain clinical practice, including review, screening, and diagnostic evaluation of patients at least 30% of allotted FTE time
- CPP is directly involved in the management of all Ketamine Infusion therapy for adolescents (age 12+) and adults.
- Acts as a liaison between psychiatry services and other healthcare teams (pain management), ensuring collaborative and integrated patient care.
- Must have excellent communication and leadership skills, collaborate and function as a part of an established team of staff members, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of innovative psychiatric programs and services that align with the organization's overall objectives and patient needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of psychiatric policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health services.
- Oversee quality assurance and utilization reviews specific to psychiatric services.
- Assures compliance of psychiatric services with relevant regulations and standards, including internal credentialing requirements, and external agency requirements.
