The Forensic Evaluation Service (FES) Director is responsible for leading, supporting, and coordinating the activities of the Forensic Evaluation Service, Legal Affairs Department at the Oregon State Hospital which includes clinical supervision and administrative management of FES staff (including psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff). The FES Director is responsible to assure compliance with federal and state laws, administrative rules, the Joint Commission and CMS standards, OSH policies, and professional standards of practice.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be reflected in your application for consideration.

You must possess, or have the ability to obtain: 

  • Board certification or board eligibility at the time of appointment. 
  • Physician's license issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners at the time of appointment and maintain the licensure throughout employment. 
  • Experience managing clinical and administrative staff.

Preference Statement:  

Preference may be given to candidates who possess extensive clinical experience providing oversight and direction on clinical issues and assessments completed by other professional staff.
