A facility is seeking a Psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Northwestern Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This part-time, on-site MD-only position is to cover a vacancy, requiring 20 hours/week, MondayFriday from 26 PM. No call is required. The role involves seeing 510 adult patients per day for bridge medication visits and brief psychiatric evaluations, typically with 3060 minutes allotted for initial assessments. It operates within a rapid-access model to connect patients to long-term care. The EMR used is Netsmart Avatar NX. Support staff includes peers, case managers, therapists, CRNPs, and intake specialists. BE is acceptable, and credentialing takes 23 weeks.
