A clinic is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in northern Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The role is on-site and offers both part-time and full-time options. The part-time schedule is every other weekend from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. starting October 25, while the full-time schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., beginning December 22 through January 16, with the potential to extend. There is no call required. The position involves seeing adult patients for bridge medication visits and brief psychiatric evaluations, typically 5-10 patients per day. Initial evaluations are 30-60 minutes, focusing on rapid assessment and determining the next level of care. The facility uses Netsmart Avatar NX EMR and provides support from peers, case managers, therapists, intake specialists, and CRNPs. Credentialing takes approximately 2-3 weeks. The payer mix includes Medicaid and County, and the pay rate ranges from $150-$180 per hour.
