The psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management for adult male inmates in an outpatient correctional facility environment. Clinical responsibilities include seeing 10-15 patients per day, performing psychiatric assessments and medication checks while maintaining detailed documentation using electronic systems. The clinician will collaborate with nursing staff, correctional officers, and administrative personnel to ensure coordinated care delivery and manage various mental health conditions within established correctional healthcare protocols.
