A large inpatient facility needs coverage due to their current provider retiring. Credentialing takes about 2-3 weeks, and an active GA license is needed. The facility uses EMR.

A psychologist is needed to support adult and geriatric patients, including individuals with serious mental illness, dementia, and other neurocognitive disorders. This part-time role offers 10-29 hours per week, typically 2-3 days weekly. The psychologist will work with a multidisciplinary team providing behavioral interventions, supportive rounding, and collaboration for residents on a locked unit. Many patients have histories of inpatient hospitalization and resolved forensic issues. Ideal candidates will have experience with behavior support plans, positive behavior support, or applied behavior analysis, preferably in inpatient or skilled nursing settings.

• Support Staff:  LCSW, psychiatrist, RN, activity therapist
