This large inpatient facility provides comprehensive psychological services to adult populations within a secure forensic environment. The facility maintains established protocols for mental health care delivery and utilizes EMR systems for clinical documentation. The institution operates during regular business hours and emphasizes evidence-based therapeutic interventions for the forensic population. Credentialing takes approximately two weeks to complete.

Atlanta offers diverse attractions centered around entertainment and cultural experiences. Key destinations include the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coca-Cola, along with Centennial Olympic Park attractions. The city features educational sites such as the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park, Atlanta History Center, and Atlanta Botanical Garden. The clinician will provide comprehensive psychological services to adult patients in a forensic unit on a full-time basis Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include conducting individual therapy sessions for patients with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, substance abuse issues, and personality issues. The position requires maintaining accurate clinical documentation using the EMR system while managing a caseload of 10-15 patients per day. The clinician will work 40 hours per week with no call requirements. An active Georgia license is required for this assignment.
