An inpatient psychiatric facility is seeking a clinical psychologist for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility LocationThe facility is located in southwestern Illinois.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThis fulltime Monday-Friday role involves conducting highdemand forensic assessments, including competency to stand trial, risk evaluations such as the HCR20, malingering assessments, and IQ/ID and functional evaluations, with therapy provided as needed. The clinician will develop behavior management plans, assess patients for increased privileges, and maintain a manageable caseload with limited individual counseling and occasional UST groups. Responsibilities also include completing structured forensic and psychological reports as part of the workday and serving as a consultant on the units.
