A hospital is seeking a psychologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located 71 miles northwest of downtown Philadelphia, PA.
A full-time psychologist is needed at a state psychiatric hospital due to a vacancy. The role requires working inpatient with general adult and court-ordered patients diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, PTSD, and paranoia. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week with a half-hour unpaid lunch. Responsibilities include leading the Co-occurring Program for patients with mental illness and substance abuse, overseeing department goals and projects, evaluating referrals from hospital units, and effectively working in cross-cultural situations to provide appropriate interventions.
