Our credentialed, board certified physicians are versed in evidenced-based practices and are actively practicing medicine, keeping up on all of the new developments in their field of specialty. Objective, Defensible, Evidenced-based assessment of the medical records focusing on diagnosis, mechanism of injury, current and past treatment régimes allowing them to assess the appropriateness of care in a non-bias fashion.

Summary:

We have an immediate need of a Board Certified Psychologist to join our panel of reviewers. Our Physician Consultants perform a wide variety of world-class utilization reviews, disability reviews, and peer reviews products in multiple lines of business including health, workers compensation, and auto liability

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews all medical records and addresses each question on the report template provided.  Places peer to peer calls to any treating providers requested on a per case basis.
  • Provides a rationale for the determination and that is adequate and supporting to the final decision
  • Active, unrestricted physician US Medical License or active International Medical License.  No restrictions, limitations, malpractice claims, previous or current.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Medical License: Must hold an unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state and/or International Medical License
  • Board Certification: Required Certification through a board recognized by:
    • The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS),
    • The American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or
    • Another nationally recognized board granting certification.

 

Must be actively engaged in direct or virtual patient care
