PSYCHOLOGIST-LICENSED (PART-TIME)

Winnebago Mental Health Institute (WMHI), located near Oshkosh WI, is looking to hire a Part-Time (0.75 FTE) Psychologist - Licensed to typically work 4 days a week between Monday and Friday from 7:45am-4:30pm, with some scheduling flexibility depending on the needs of the facility.
As a Psychologist – Licensed you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Providing psychological services to patients at WMHI.
- Providing mental health treatment (including individual and group modalities) and psychological evaluations.
- Providing psychological services in the development and implementation of treatment plans for admitted patients and risk assessments as needed.
- Participating in overall program development, program evaluation, and in-service teaching.
- Evaluating patients admitted under emergency detention (WSS §51.15) and forensic commitments (WSS §971.17 and WSS §971.14) and providing expert testimony in courts of law consisting of opinions relative to the patient’s treatment needs, competency to refuse medication, and competency to stand trial.
Note: Must be fully licensed at the time of hire in order to meet minimum qualification. Interim licensure would not meet this requirement and would be eligible for the Psychological Associate classification.
The starting pay is $61.05 per hour*, plus excellent, prorated benefits.
-*Pay includes $6.00/hour add-on for Doctorate and $5/hour add-on for WI licensure.
-$2,000 sign-on bonus applies to those with no prior state service in the last five years, who stay with WMHI in the position until completing probation. Bonus will be split, $1,000 upon hire and $1,000 after completing probation.
Qualified applicants will have all of the following:
-License or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Wisconsin. Eligible is defined as: you currently hold a licensure as a Psychologist in another state and are eligible for licensure in the State of Wisconsin, you have taken the Examination for the Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP) and are awaiting results, or you possess an American Board of Professional Psychology ABPP Diploma. Must be fully licensed at the time of hire.
-Experience administering and interpreting tests of cognitive ability and personality functioning typically used with youth and adult psychiatric patients (e.g. Wechsler Intelligence Scales and Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory).
-Experience producing consumer-oriented reports that are responsive to referral questions and patient needs.
-Experience providing group and individual psychological treatment services.
