Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine Locums Job in Alabama | Full Time Coverage Ongoing | Beginning in September | Assignment # 110326

Coverage Needed: Full Time coverage plus call starting 9/1/2025 and ongoing 

Shift Description: Scheduled clinical hours plus call (2nd call/backup with 30 minute call response time) 

Requirements:   
--Admissions required 
--Board certified or Board eligible 
--Licensed in Alabama 
--Fellowship – required 
--ACLS, BLS certifications 
--Provider is required to supervise APPs and Residents  

Assignment Details:  
--Reason for Coverage: vacancy – long-term permanent search 
--Looking for two providers 
--Hospital is stroke certified 
--Temporary privileges available- credentialing 30 days 
--EMR: Medhost 
--Practice Setting: inpatient 
--Patients per shift: 12-18 
--Beds in department: 18 
--Trauma level: 3 
--Support staff: 6-9 RN, 1 PA/NPs (Tele-ICU to be available overnight starting in mid October; nocturnist also available overnight)
