Coverage Details
-- Hospital inpatient coverage, Monday through Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 with call
-- Night and weekend call required
-- Call coverage Sunday through Saturday
-- Call starts at 5:00 pm on weekdays and is 24-hour call on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Requirements
-- Licensed in Alabama or IMLC
-- ACLS
-- BLS

Assignment Details
-- Average phone consults per call shift: 2–3
-- Average admissions per call shift: 5–7
-- Average patients seen per call shift: 20–25
-- Inpatient consultative ICU coverage for Internal Medicine physician
-- Facility has 32 critical care beds across SICU, MICU, CVCU, and CCU
-- Hospitalists admit and serve as attending physicians; intensivist provides bedside procedures, ventilator management, and pulmonary/critical care services
-- Nurse practitioner support available during weekdays; two PA/NPs listed for support
-- Average patient volume: 20–25 per shift
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 45 days
-- EMR: Cerner
