Job Description

This regional medical center in Valdosta, GA is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pulmonology/Critical Care Physician.  We are pleased to announce due to demand we have an exceptional opportunity for an energetic and team-oriented Pulmonology/Critical Care Physician to join our team of three Pulmonology/Critical Care Physicians providing best in class quality healthcare to our community.

 

The medical center is the most comprehensive health system serving South Georgia and North Florida. The system operates four hospitals across Lowndes, Berrien, and Lanier counties. The system also operates ambulance services, an extensive medical office network, a cancer center, hospice facility, retirement center, skilled nursing facility, imaging centers and urgent cares. Service lines of regional prominence include heart and vascular, stroke, trauma, cancer, orthopedics, surgery, and women and infants.

 

Position Description:

·         Full-time, permanent, hospital employed position

·         Salary guarantees period and excellent earning potential based on productivity

Qualifications:

·         American Board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology and Critical Care

·         Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Georgia

·         Experience with the EPIC is a plus

·         Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within an inter-disciplinary team and with referring physicians to provide high quality patient care

·         Passionate about quality, service excellence, safety, process improvement, program development and team building

·         Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to create a positive and productive environment that promotes collegiality and innovation in all settings

·         Comply with all hospital bylaws, rules and regulations, and policies.
