NPS is searching for a Physician to join our team! This role will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered medical care across a diverse patient population, ensuring clinical excellence through accurate diagnosis, effective treatment planning, and compassionate communication. This role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams to promote continuity of care, adherence to evidence-based practices, and improved health outcomes. The Physician will evaluate patient health status, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe appropriate treatments, and provide education to patients and families while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, ethics, and regulatory compliance. Includes opportunity to engage in all pulmonary and critical care procedures, including robotic bronchoscopy with a robust referral base from primary care and multiple oncology groups locally and across the state.
In addition to direct patient care, the Physician will contribute to organizational goals by supporting quality improvement initiatives, maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation, and participating in clinical program development. This role demands strong clinical judgment, effective decision-making, and the ability to manage a dynamic workload in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism and a commitment to lifelong learning, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care aligned with NPS’s mission and standards.
The schedule for this role consists of weekday and full-week rotations, including Monday-Friday clinical coverage during certain weeks and Monday-Sunday coverage during others. Physicians also participate in hospital coverage approximately every other week as part of a shared rotation. Home-based call occurs roughly three to four times per month.
