Radiation Oncology Locums Job in Arizona | Full Time Coverage | Beginning in September | Assignment #110280

Coverage Needed: Full Time Coverage 9/15/2025 - 1/1/2026 

Shift Description:  
--Monday-Friday 
--On call duties 1 week per month (on-call is 7 days per week) - weeknight evenings (5pm-7:30am) & Saturday/Sunday (24 hours) - required 

Requirements:   
--Board Certification  
--State License Arizona or IMLC 
--BLS, DEA certifications 
--Required Procedures: provide linac based treatments on Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator (3d, IMRT, SBRT); consultation, treatment planning, treatment supervision, OTV patient management, follow-ups 

Assignment Details:  
--Duties: Provider will have significant role in helping manage the inpatient referrals and management primarily at a hospital-based location; Duties: provide consultation services for steady volume of inpatients referred for radiation treatment; provide consultation services for outpatient practice supporting 3 full time providers; supervising physician for linac based outpatient treatment;  treatment planning via Eclipse; check daily imaging; provide OTV services; rotate on-call with 3 full time providers (on-call 1 week per month) 
--EMR: ARIA, Cerner 
--Support Staff: 3 Rad Oncs, 1 Practice Manager, 4 RNs, 3 MAs, 4 Medical Physicists (1 Chief of Physics), 2 Dosimetrists, 6 Radiation Therapists, front/back-office support staff, procedure scheduler 
--Reason for Coverage: full time provider resigned position 
--Credentialing 90 days 
--Average inpatient volume: 4 patients per day (range 1-8/day) 
--Average outpatient volume: 25-30
