Requirements

Call Details

-- Average call per 24 hours: 1–2 phone consults, 16–18 patients seen

-- Conventional / Conformal therapy
-- Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
-- Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)
-- Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
-- Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) – all types
-- Intraoperative Radiation Therapy (IORT)
-- Total Body Irradiation (TBI)
-- Total Skin Electrons (TSE)
-- Hyper-altered fractionation
-- Beam shaping (MLC)
-- 3D CRT
-- IMRT (treatment planning)
-- PET CT or MRI image fusion
-- Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI)

Assignment Details
-- Patients per shift: 15
-- Patients seen during call: 16–18
-- Admissions: 2 per month
-- Bed in department: 1 (machine)
-- Support staff: 1 RN, 4 office staff (3 Rad)
-- EMR: Athena
