A large hospital seeks a radiation oncologist for locum tenens coverage in their oncology division. The facility provides comprehensive radiation therapy services with modern treatment equipment. Hospital privileges are required at two affiliated sites to ensure continuity of patient care.

This Wisconsin region offers diverse attractions ranging from architectural heritage to outdoor recreation including ski areas, state parks, and hiking trails. Visitors can enjoy family entertainment at water parks and amusement facilities, explore coastal areas, and attend music festivals throughout the warmer months. The area provides access to both cultural experiences and natural wildlife areas, with opportunities for skiing, hiking, and various seasonal outdoor activities.

The radiation oncologist will manage an outpatient practice Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Responsibilities include conducting eight new consultations weekly, managing 20 on-treatment patients daily, and sharing 30-40 follow-up appointments with the nurse practitioner. The position requires participation in tumor board meetings three times monthly, lung conferences monthly, and CQIC meetings weekly. Evening call coverage is required Monday through Thursday, with hospital privileges needed at two sites.
