Job Description
Hospital seeking a Locum Interventional Radiologist
• 24 hour weekend coverage
• Call: 1:3
• Friday (5p start) – Monday (7a end)
• Support staff: 2 techs and a nurse on call with physician
• Department Description: 1 Siemens single plane Angio suite, ultrasound procedure room, fluoro procedure room
• Patient Volume: variable, 1-4 procedures are likely per weekend
• Patient Age Group: 18+
• EMR: Cerner
• Special Procedures: Trauma embolization, TIPS, GI bleeds. Provider should be able to perform essentially all non-neuro emergent procedures covered by IR physicians.
• Required: BC Interventional Radioloigy, MO license or IMLC, DEA, BLS, ACLS
